TeamMate Microsoft Teams PBX Connector available in US, Canada, Australia, and UK with expanded integration with Vonage, 8X8, RingCentral and Others

WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – MARCH 25, 2021 – Microsoft Teams adoption in business, education, and healthcare continues to grow quickly with the US, Canada, UK, and Australia leading the way. With an announced annual 4X growth in users of Microsoft Teams for Phone System and an 11X growth in phone calls, many Service Providers large and small are offering or planning to offer a Teams integration. The TeamMate Connector, with thousands of users and hundreds of Resellers and Master Resellers since its 2020 launch, is adding to its geographic footprint and to the list of PBX Phone Systems it supports.
Today, TeamMate is announcing the availability of additional Points of Presence (POPs) in Australia (Azure: Australia East), the United Kingdom (Azure: UK South) to augment availability in North America (Azure: US East & US West). POPs allow businesses to link to the geographically logical location of their calls to avoid long and unnecessary call setup among other advantages. TeamMate is expanding where Microsoft Teams’ use is growing fastest. Additional locations will be added in the coming months to support demand.
To respond to the demand from businesses to bring their existing PBX Phone Systems into Microsoft Teams, TeamMate has added to its list of supported PBX systems. TeamMate integration to Microsoft Teams now works for cloud phone systems including RingCentral, 8X8 and Vonage and others.
