TeamMate Supports New SMS Providers

TeamMate is pleased to announce that the TeamMate SMS Connector is now integrated with Syniverse and Crexendo powered by Netsapiens.

SMS Connector Integrations

If you currently use Syniverse to power your SMS and MMS traffic, including 10-digit long codes, Toll Free numbers of short codes, you can now select Syniverse API from the drop-down menu in the SMS Carrier API section of the TeamMate provisioning portal. In the future we expect to support additional channels such as RCS and WhatsApp through Syniverse as well.

Although Netsapiens is not an SMS carrier, per se, many UCaaS Providers use the Netsapiens platform to manage SMS routing through their networks. The Netsapiens platform allows end user subscribers to chat as well as send SMS and MMS messages through supported SMS carriers. With the new integration, the TeamMate SMS Connector can be treated like another chat endpoint. This means that inbound SMS and MMS messages will be synced across all user interfaces, including Microsoft Teams, allowing Netsapiens providers to seamlessly integrate Microsoft Teams with existing services.

The addition of these new integrations brings the list of supported SMS providers to an even dozen:

  • Syniverse
  • Crexendo powered by Netsapiens
  • Bandwidth
  • Sinch/Inteliquent
  • NUSO
  • Telnyx
  • Tychron
  • Twilio
  • VoIP Innovations
  • VoIP.ms
  • Enfonica
  • CommsChannel

And we’re not close to being done. We will continue to add new integrations and capabilities as we continue to improve the TeamMate SMS Connector.
