TeamMate Technology releases a new update that makes it easier for telecom service providers to integrate their communications services with Microsoft Teams for end-users.

ST PETERSBURG, FL – April 17, 2023 – TeamMate Technology, the leading provider of Microsoft Teams integration for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) Providers, announces a new product update that makes it even easier to serve clients looking to integrate their PBX, SIP, or SMS platforms with Teams.

TeamMate’s connectors enable Microsoft Teams users to make outbound and receive inbound calls and SMS messages without having to leave the Teams application.

With Microsoft having over 270 million monthly active Teams users as of early 2023 and Teams becoming the preferred collaboration tool for many businesses, it is becoming essential for Service Providers to be able to integrate their UCaaS offerings with the popular communications platform.

The new 2.6.0 TeamMate update simplifies the setup process for Service Providers to automatically configure PBX, SIP, or SMS connection for their clients without repeatedly requiring authentication from the Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator.

The Enterprise Administrator only needs to grant the Service Provider consent once, after which the Service Provider can easily set up Direct Routing, synchronize users between the PBX and O365, enable or disable calling for individual users or in bulk, or even set up additional voice routes.

“TeamMate’s goal is to empower Service Providers to stay in the driver’s seat of their clients’ communications needs by integrating their existing service offerings with Microsoft Teams,” said Eric Hernaez, CEO of TeamMate Technology.  “We make this process incredibly easy for Service Providers without needing a lot of technical investment and are dedicated to increasing functionality with every new release.”

TeamMate will soon be announcing a new calling app that further reduces the barrier to entry for Service Providers looking to offer Teams integration. Stay tuned for more information.
